A Charles X mahogany console

CONDITION REPORT :
Good overall condition despite the inevitable shocks and marks in accordance with age and use. Scratches, some stains and marks to the marble top. One crack and accident to the right hand side area of the marble top. One accident and loss to the external moulding of the frieze decorating the upper area of the console (right hand side). One tiny loss to the veneer to the rear right hand side area of the plinth ; some losses to the veneer to the left hand side area of the plinth (notably to the rear left hand side foot). Few shrinkage cracks and tiny losses to the veneer on the plith itself. Some wears to the veneer's varnish in places.
