1995 Porsche 968 Cabriolet
This car was purchased in 2007 via a classified advert in a motoring magazine by its current owner, who is based in Touraine and takes great care over the condition of his classic cars. Sold new in Saint-Mandé, this Porsche had 50,157 km on the clock at the time; it now has a mileage 65,885 km, which therefore implies that it has travelled just over 15,000 km in almost 20 years. Furthermore, the owner (the fifth since the car was first registered) has recorded all journeys, servicing and refuelling in a logbook, which consequently provides an accurate picture of its use since 2007. A file of invoices, the owner's manual and the original service logbook (which lists all four successive owners and bears witness to regular servicing with numerous stamps) complete its history.
With its six-speed manual gearbox and ‘triple black’ finish (black bodywork, interior and soft top), this car is now in an outstanding condition, with immaculate bodywork and very well-preserved leather upholstery, faithful to the quality expected from the Stuttgart-based manufacturer.
As the ultimate evolution of Porsche's front-engine and rear-wheel-drive models from the 1980s and 1990s, the 968 is a model that is all too often overlooked, despite offering impressive performance thanks to a 3-litre four-cylinder engine, producing 240 ch and propelling it to over 250 km/h. This convertible version offers the added pleasure of an open-top interior, ideal for truly enjoying casual drives or longer road trips, something this car inspires you to do without hesitation.
