2006 Aston Martin DB9 Volante
A naturally aspirated 5.9L V12 engine producing 450 hp in a convertible design that has remained successful to this day and is as timeless as ever, all topped off with quintessential British refinement: this is what the Aston Martin DB9 Volante has to offer.
This particular car was sold new on the 14th November 2006 by Royal Motors in Le Cannet. Finished in ‘Onyx Black’ with a ‘Bamboo’ interior, it is fitted with a 6-speed Touchtronic gearbox. It subsequently changed hands in June 2008, then again in November 2009, both times through Royal Motors who serviced it until 2013, as evidenced by the stamped service logbook. The current owner purchased the car that year, when its mileage had reached 52,500 km. Servicing was subsequently carried out by Auto Performances Bordeaux, up to the last invoice in September 2026 when the car’s mileage stood at 116,873 km. The latter invoice mentions a deformation of the rear wheels and indicates that some work may be required on the gearbox (noise when shifting from 1st to 2nd, then from 2nd to 3rd), although this does not prevent the car from running. The soft-top mechanism has recently been refurbished and the soft-top fabric was replaced at the same time. The bodywork is in its original condition, as is the interior, which shows signs of ageing in line with the mileage. The look of this DB9 (particularly in this colour combination) is sure to turn heads, not to mention the sound of its V12 engine; it is certainly worth carrying out the recommended work, as it is difficult to find a comparable level of performance in this price range!
