Comme un point étape sur la route de Paris à sa Villa de Marnes-la-Coquette, Johnny Hallyday aimait s’arrêter à la concession Harley-Davidson de Saint-Cloud. Il aimait passer du temps à regarder les motos, essayer les blousons et discuter avec le patron, Pierre-Yves Rousset. C’est en 2013 que Johnny ramène sa Triumph Bonneville T100 qu’il jugeait manquer de puissance pour tomber amoureux d’une Softail Slim toute neuve de 1750 cm3. Johnny voulait une moto dans les tons de gris et noir, un échappement spécial « qui fait du bruit » et un guidon particulier. En attendant sa livraison, la moto reçoit un guidon ape-hanger dans un premier temps, puis l’actuel dans un deuxième temps, un pot KessTech permettant de changer la sonorité, une selle à l’ancienne, un forcewinder et quelques accessoires en plus. Johnny aimait tellement cette moto qu’il tentera de l’exporter dans sa villa de Los Angeles ; sans succès, elle restera bloquée en douane aux Etats-Unis pendant quatre mois avant finalement de revenir dans sa villa de Marnes. Il l’utilisera régulièrement, y compris pour faire la une de Paris-Match en novembre 2014 avec sa femme Laeticia. La moto sera conservée dans sa propriété de Marnes-la-Coquette, puis offerte à Daniel Dos Reis, son coach sportif et proche. Mais Daniel n’ayant pas loisir de rouler avec la moto, la redonne au concessionnaire. Cette superbe Harley-Davidson n’a que 9880 km depuis sa sortie d’usine et se trouve dans un état exceptionnel. La provenance et l’histoire de cette moto en font un monument…comme l’était son premier propriétaire qui nous manque tant.

As a pit stop on the road from Paris to his villa in Marnes-la-Coquette, French rockstar Johnny Hallyday enjoyed stopping at the Harley-Davidson dealership in Saint-Cloud. He liked spending time looking at motorcycles, trying on jackets and chatting with the owner, Pierre-Yves Rousset. In 2013, Johnny traded in his Triumph Bonneville T100 (which he felt lacked power) and fell in love with a brand new 1,750cc Softail Slim. Johnny wanted a motorcycle in grey and black, a special exhaust ‘that makes noise’ and a unique handlebar. While waiting for delivery, the bike was first fitted with ape-hanger handlebars (followed by the current ones), a KessTech exhaust to enhance the sound, an old-style seat, a force winder and a few other accessories. Johnny was so fond of this motorcycle that he attempted to export it to his villa in Los Angeles; however, it was held up at customs in the United States for four months before finally returning to his villa in Marnes. He used it regularly, including for the cover of Paris-Match in November 2014 with his wife Laeticia. The motorbike was kept at his property in Marnes-la-Coquette; then, it was given to Daniel Dos Reis, his sports coach and close friend. However, since Daniel did not have the time to ride the motorbike, he returned it to the dealership. This superb Harley-Davidson has only travelled 9,880 km since leaving the factory and is in exceptional condition. The provenance and history of this motorcycle make it a legend. Just like its first owner.
