A quelques détails près, cette Logan Steppe est identique à celle qui était exposée au Salon de Genève 2006 et qui annonçait d'une certaine manière la Dacia Jogger. De couleur verte, elle porte la marque Renault, au lieu de Dacia pour celle de Genève. Elle partage avec sa sœur dévoilée en Suisse un aménagement orienté vers un usage de type "baroudeur". L'extérieur, avec son ouverture arrière par deux portes verticales, se distingue par des extensions d'ailes, de généreux boucliers de protection et une galerie de toit intégrée et dotée de spots. L'aménagement intérieur ne manque pas d'astuces avec des commandes de tableau de bord pouvant être manipulées sans quitter ses gants, et trois rangées de sièges habillés de tissu bicolore et aisément modulables avec leurs dossiers repliables. La partie arrière comporte d'ingénieux compartiments de rangement et dans les appuis-tête un écran multimédia utilisable par les passagers arrière. D'amusants détails viennent confirmer la vocation tout-chemin de la voiture, comme l'antidérapant du pédalier dont le dessin rappelle celui d'un pneu tout-terrain.

Cette Logan Steppe Concept, non immatriculable et non utilisable, a intégré la collection en janvier 2010. Elle se présente en excellent état et offre l'occasion de s'offrir un peu de l'extraordinaire inventivité du bureau de style Renault.

Barring only a few details, this Logan Steppe is identical to the car displayed at the 2006 Geneva Motor Show, which in some ways heralded the Dacia Jogger. Finished in green, it was badged as a Renault, rather than Dacia for the Geneva car. It shared with the model unveiled in Switzerland design features aimed at an adventurous lifestyle. The exterior, with a pair of vertically split rear doors, had distinctive wheelarch extensions, substantial protective bumpers and an integrated roof rack fitted with spotlights. The interior had no shortage of ingenious features, with its dashboard controls which could be operated while wearing gloves, and three rows of seats: trimmed in two-tone fabric, the layout of these could easily be changed thanks to their folding backrests. There were some ingenious storage compartments in the back and multimedia screens in the headrests for use by rear-seat passengers. Some amusing details confirm the car's off-road vocation, such as the anti-slip cover on the pedals with a design resembling that of an off-road tyre.

This Logan Steppe Concept Car, which cannot be registered or driven, joined the collection in January 2010. It is in excellent condition and will let you treat yourself to a small part of the remarkable inventiveness of Renault’s design department.
