Mise en circulation pour la première fois le 16 mai 1961, cet élégant cabriolet par Touring a été acheté aux enchères le 9 décembre 1996 par Jean-Pierre Nylin, lors d’une vente au Palais des Congrès à Paris. Elle avait été immatriculée à Paris l’année suivante et était décrite comme ayant parcouru moins de 6 000 km depuis une importante restauration. Elle affichait 8 755 km lors de son dernier contrôle technique de 1996, contre 8 791 à ce jour. Saine, la carrosserie anciennement restaurée porte quelques réactions de peintures et éraflures qu’il conviendra de reprendre. La sellerie rouge avec passepoil noir a visiblement été refaite en même temps que le reste de la voiture. Le moteur 2.5 L à un carburateur est du bon type, il ne lui manque que la partie supérieure du filtre à air. Cette Flaminia est l’occasion d’accéder à un cabriolet techniquement et esthétiquement remarquable, il conviendra de lui faire bénéficier d’une remise en route, d’une révision complète et de quelques interventions cosmétiques afin de lui rendre toute son allure et circuler à bord d’une automobile de grande qualité.

Nous informons les acheteurs que l’ensemble des véhicules de la collection ont été peu utilisés ces dernières années, s’agissant d’une collection muséale. Ils sont donc vendus en l’état, à redémarrer, sans contrôle technique valide et devront bénéficier d’une révision générale avant de prendre la route.

First registered on the 16th May 1961, this elegant Touring convertible was purchased on the 9th December 1996 by Jean-Pierre Nylin at the Palais des Congres auction sale in Paris. It was registered in Paris the following year and was described as having been driven fewer than 6,000 km since its major restoration. It had 8,755 km on the odometer during its last technical inspection in 1996 and now indicates a mileage of 8,791 km. Previously restored, the bodywork is in sound condition; it has some paint reactions and scratches which will require some attention. The red upholstery with black piping was clearly redone at the same time as the rest of the car. The 2.5L engine with one carburettor appears to be the correct type; only the upper part of the air filter is missing.

This Flaminia is an opportunity to own a mechanically and aesthetically remarkable convertible. It will need to be restarted, as well as having a full service done and some cosmetic work carried out in order to restore it to its full splendour – making it ready to enjoy as a high-quality automobile. 

Buyers are informed that all vehicles in the collection have seen limited use in recent years, having been part of a museum display. They are therefore sold as-is, require restarting, are not covered by a valid roadworthiness inspection, and will need full recommissioning before being driven on public roads.
