Authentique première main, cette Porsche Targa est sortie d’usine le 25 mai 1968 pour être livrée au Garage Mahag de Munich, en Allemagne. Ainsi que le confirme sa facture d’achat, ainsi que le bon de commande, son actuel propriétaire en a fait l’acquisition le 18 juin 1968 et les précieux documents reprennent les caractéristiques de la voiture : carrosserie d’une superbe teinte « Orange sanguine » avec sellerie en similicuir noir. Au titre des options, elle dispose d’un volant garni de cuir, de l’instrumentation et de la jauge à huile de la 911 S et de jantes en alliage léger. La belle Porsche va ensuite être régulièrement utilisée ; en 1971, une vitre fixe remplace le « soft-window » qui sera fourni avec ses ferrures pour un retour à l’origine. Sensible à la corrosion, la carrosserie est refaite au milieu des années 70, puis dans les années 80, le moteur d’origine est refait. Pour en améliorer le fonctionnement un système d’allumage Bosch est installé, tandis que le comportement progresse avec l’adoption de jantes Fuchs en 6.00x15. Toujours aimée et suivie, cette Porsche est dans un état de préservation rare qui lui confère une âme. Elle est accompagnée du manuel d’utilisation et son supplément Targa, ainsi que différents documents d’époque dont un contrat pour son utilisation en 1976 dans la série allemande « Irgendwie und Sowieso ». This genuine first-hand Porsche Targa rolled off the production line on 25th May 1968 for delivery to Garage Mahag in Munich, Germany. As the bill of sale and order form confirm, its current owner bought it on 18th June 1968, and these precious documents list the car's features: a superb “Tangerine” body with black leatherette upholstery. Options include a leather-trimmed steering wheel, 911 S instrumentation and dipstick, and light alloy wheel rims. This beautiful Porsche was driven regularly. In 1971, the “soft-window” was replaced by a fixed window, supplied complete with fittings for a return to the original. Sensitive to corrosion, the body was refurbished in the mid-70s, and the original engine was restored in the 1980s. A Bosch ignition was installed to improve performance, while handling was improved with the fitting of Fuchs 6.00x15 rims. Lovingly maintained from the start, this Porsche is in rare condition revealing its soul. It comes with the user manual and Targa supplement, as well as various period documents including a 1976 contract for its appearance in the German TV series “Irgendwie und Sowieso”. With its desirable original colour and crystal-clear history, this matching numbers 911 Targa, seldom been driven in recent years, might need a service before being put to any intensive use.
