A Louis XV giltwood mirror

CONDITION REPORT :
Good overall condition despite the inevitable losses and marks in accordance with age and use. Some losses to the gilding (as visible on the e-catalogue illustration) revealing the gesso underneath. Some tiny accidents and losses in places, such as to the outer frame (both to the left and right hand side) and to the internal frame next to the mirror plate (upper corners). Few tiny accidents and losses to the carving (on some of the scrolling foliages). One small crack to the pediment's mirror plate and to the left hand side one. The mirror plates are probably associated.
