- Coloris d’origine, moteur d’origine

1972 Porsche 911 2.4 S
As stated on the manufacturer’s specification sheet, this 2.4 S coupe was built in March 1973. It featured an unusual colour combination: ‘Sepia Brown’ bodywork with a tan faux leather interior featuring corduroy inserts – a highly sought-after and timeless combination. The current owner came across this interesting example in Japan in 2014, where the car had been stored in a barn for around fifteen years. He then entrusted it to Bitte Motorworks in order to have it restored. Between 2014 and 2017, the braking system and fuel system were overhauled – including the replacement of the fuel tank – the fuel injection pump was restored and the window seals, bearings and bellows were replaced. During this period, the interior was also brought back to life. The beautiful 2.4 S then returned to France in 2017, before being entrusted to the excellent team at PN Classic. In 2018, its headlights were replaced and the following year, its drive shafts were replaced and the fuel injection system was calibrated. In 2022, the gearbox and differential were fully restored. Following a rear-end collision, the bodywork was completely repaired before being repainted in its original colour. At the same time, the powertrain was removed, cleaned, resealed and fitted with a new exhaust system. The owner told us he has spent nearly €76,000 on restoration work since purchasing the car. Fitted with Fuchs wheels – the rear ones being wider to emphasize its sporty look – this stunning example is matching numbers and matching colours; the extensive work carried out on the car in recent years guarantees many kilometres of pure driving pleasure.
