Le châssis #30 a été engagé au sein de la structure DB Autosport, équipe française reconnue dans le milieu sport automobile d’endurance. Le volant a été confié à deux pilotes expérimentés. Matias Beche, pilote Suisse aguerri qui évolue aux plus hautes sphères de l’endurance mondiale avec 8 participations au 24 heures du Mans en prototype et une victoire en LMP1 en 2014 sur Rebellion aux côtés de Nick Heidfeld et Nicolas Prost, une seconde place en 2012 sur une Nissan Oreca LM P2 avec Christophe Tinseau et Pierre Thiriet et une autre 3e place en LM P1 en 2018 sur Rebellion. Le second est Lionel Robert, vieux briscard de l’endurance avec 7 participations aux 24 heures et une victoire en GT sur Porsche en 1986.

Au sein de la catégorie LMP3, la Duqueine D08 s’inscrit comme une alternative sérieuse et techniquement mature face à ses concurrentes directes : la Ligier JSP3, la Norma M30, la Ginetta LTP3 ou encore l’Adess 03 mais la D08 se distingue par la qualité irréprochable de ses matériaux composites, héritage direct du cœur de métier du groupe Duqueine, équipementier d’Airbus. L’atout majeur de cette voiture réside dans le fait de son éligibilité dans tous les championnats importants d’endurance. Bien sûr, l’éligibilité définitive reste soumise aux derniers règlements en vigueur au moment de l’engagement de chaque organisation. Elle est homologuée LMP3 Génération 1 par l’ACO et éligible à :

- Michelin le Mans Cup, LMP3, série phare de l’ACO, réunissant LMP3 et GT3 sur 6 circuits européens.

- FIA European Le Mans serie (ELMS) LMP3 Championnat phare de l’endurance européenne, manche qualificative pour les 24h du Mans.

- Road to le Mans, épreuve support des 24 h du Mans, vitrine ultime, courir sur la piste de 13 km en ouverture de la plus grande course du monde. Ce châssis y a déjà brillé d’un podium au général.

L’autre atout de poids de cet exemplaire est que son groupe motopropulseur Nissan V8 Nismo 5.0 litre de 450 ch (ORECA, 49 000 €), son embrayage et sa boîte de vitesses séquentielle Hewland X Trac à 6 rapports sont neufs (10 000 €), factures à l’appui.

Elle a également reçu chez Duqueine, l’Upgrade VK 50 en 2020 qui porte sur le châssis, la carrosserie et l’aérodynamique contre la somme de 60 000 €. Un moteur supplémentaire à réviser et ses périphériques spécifiques, un train de jantes et un catalogue d’éclaté de la mécanique accompagnent ce proto. La documentation complète sera fournie, carnets d’entretien, homologation ACO/FIA, historique de course. Chassis #30 was run by DB Autosport, a French team renowned in the world of endurance motorsport.

The driver's seat was entrusted to two experienced racing drivers: Matias Beche, a seasoned Swiss driver competing at the highest level of world endurance racing with eight appearances in the Le Mans 24 Hours in a prototype and a victory in LMP1 in 2014 with Rebellion alongside Nick Heidfeld and Nicolas Prost, a second place in 2012 in a Nissan Oreca LMP2 with Christophe Tinseau and Pierre Thiriet, and another third place in LMP1 in 2018 with Rebellion; the second driver is Lionel Robert, a veteran of endurance racing with seven appearances at the 24 Hours of Le Mans and a GT victory in a Porsche in 1986.

In the LMP3 category, the Duqueine D08 stands out as a serious and technically sophisticated alternative to its direct rivals: the Ligier JSP3, the Norma M30, the Ginetta LTP3 and the Adess 03. However, the D08 sets itself apart through the impeccable quality of its composite materials, a direct legacy of the core business of the Duqueine Group, equipment supplier to Airbus. The car’s major selling point lies in its eligibility for all major endurance championships. Naturally, its final eligibility remains subject to latest regulations applicable at the time of entry for each organisation. It is LMP3 Generation 1 homologated by the ACO and eligible for:

-         Michelin Le Mans Cup, LMP3, the ACO’s flagship series, bringing together LMP3 and GT3 cars across six European circuits.

Another major advantage of this car is the fact that its 450 hp 5.0-litre Nissan V8 Nismo powertrain (ORECA, €49,000), its clutch and its Hewland X Trac 6-speed sequential gearbox are brand new (€10,000), with invoices to prove it.

It also had the VK 50 Upgrade carried out at Duqueine in 2020, which covers the chassis, bodywork and aerodynamics, at a cost of €60,000. This prototype comes with an additional engine requiring servicing and its specific components, a set of wheels and comprehensive mechanical diagrams. Full documentation will be provided including service logbooks, ACO/FIA homologation and racing history. The seller has informed us that delivery can be arranged by them throughout Europe via a specialist carrier at the buyer’s expense. This is therefore a racing car eligible for the most prestigious events, with the advantage of being both highly competitive and well-maintained.
