Cette voiture fait partie des toutes premières Tesla importées en France. Son premier propriétaire est à l'époque conscient, avec un de ses amis allemands dirigeant une société d'énergies renouvelables, de la nécessité de développer l'usage des voitures électriques et leur choix se porte sur la récente Tesla Roadster : "Notre motivation," explique-t-il, "était de convaincre qu'une voiture électrique peut être désirable et performante au lieu d'être perçue comme lente et utilitaire." Ils se groupent avec huit autres chefs d'entreprise pour passer commande de 10 Roadster dont sept sont livrés en 2009 Allemagne et trois en France. "Il n'existe pas de concession en France à cette époque et le pari est osé mais réussi," poursuit le propriétaire. "Nous aurons l'occasion d'accueillir Elon Musk pour l'ouverture de la première concession Tesla à Paris, quelques années plus tard."

Mise au point par Lotus sur une base d'Elise, avec AC Propulsion en Californie et Sotira 35 en Bretagne qui fabrique la carrosserie, la Tesla Roadster dépasse 200 km/h.

La série Signature 250 est limitée à 250 exemplaires et celle que nous proposons porte le numéro 53. Elle appartient depuis l'origine au même propriétaire (d'abord au nom de son entreprise, puis en son nom propre) et a bénéficié en 2026 d'une nouvelle batterie HV de 80 kWh (facture de 27 000 € chez Tesla au dossier) qui autoriserait une autonomie de 450 km.

N'affichant que 9 120 km d'origine, elle est en excellent état et vendue avec son hard-top, la borne de recharge triphasée, sa housse et un nouveau câble pour les bornes nomades, compatible avec la nouvelle batterie. Premier roadster d'une marque qui s'est, depuis, rendue célèbre, cette machine superbe est une pionnière qui témoigne magnifiquement du début de l'aventure des voitures électriques du deuxième millénaire.

This is one of the very first Tesla cars imported in France. Alongside one his German friends who ran a renewable energy company, its first owner was aware at the time of the need to promote the use of electric cars, hence why they chose the recently launched Tesla Roadster: He stated: “Our motivation was to prove that an electric car could be desirable and high-performance, rather than being perceived as slow and practical.” As a result, they teamed up with eight other business leaders to place an order for 10 Roadster models, seven of which were delivered to Germany in 2009 and three to France. “There were no dealerships in France at the time; it was a bold but successful gamble,” the owner continues. “We had the pleasure of welcoming Elon Musk for the opening of the first Tesla dealership in Paris a few years later.”

Developed by Lotus and based on the Elise model, with AC Propulsion in California and Sotira 35 in Brittany manufacturing the bodywork, the Tesla Roadster was able to exceed 200 km/h.

The Signature 250 series was limited to 250 units and this specific example bears the number 53. It has been owned by the same owner since new (initially in the name of his company, then in his own name) and was fitted in 2026 with a new 80 kWh high-voltage battery (invoice for €27,000 from Tesla included in the file), which is estimated to provide a range of 450 km.

With a mileage of only 9,120 km since new, it is in excellent condition and will be sold with its hardtop, three-phase charging point, cover and a new cable for mobile charging points, compatible with the new battery. As the first roadster from a brand that has since become famous, this superb machine is a pioneer that beautifully illustrates the dawn of the electric car era in the second millennium.
