Voici une véritable icône de l’automobile italienne d’après-guerre : la Lancia Aprilia construite entre 1937 et 1949, un modèle conçu par le célèbre ingénieur Vittorio Jano et reconnu pour son avance technologique exceptionnelle pour l’époque.
Sous son capot, cette Aprilia est équipée d’un moteur 4 cylindres en ligne à double arbre à cames en tête, développant environ 48 chevaux dans sa version de série, offrant une souplesse et une fiabilité remarquables pour une voiture de cette période. Ce moteur, associé à une suspension avant indépendante et un châssis monocoque innovant, confère à l’Aprilia une tenue de route exceptionnelle, très stable et agile, bien supérieure aux standards des années 1940.
La voiture présentée est sortie d’usine le 26 septembre 1947. On ne connait pas beaucoup de détail quant à son histoire. En revanche, la voiture a été acquise par une grande famille industrielle belge, passionnée d’automobiles, d’histoire et de design. Cette voiture avec ce dessin si emblématique et original ne pouvait échapper à la curiosité de ce collectionneur. Elle est envoyée à la Carrosserie Touring dont ils sont propriétaires, pour une restauration jusqu’au moindre boulon. Tout est intégralement refait par l’atelier italien sans limite de coût. Sa combinaison de couleurs des plus agréables est bien celle d’origine, telle que sortie d’usine, carrosserie gris clair, intérieur en tissu gris. Depuis sa restauration, la voiture a rejoint la collection en Belgique et vient de bénéficier d’une révision. Il s’agit d’une opportunité rare que de pouvoir acquérir ce type de modèle dans un tel état.

Here is a true icon of post-war Italian motoring: the Lancia Aprilia, built between 1937 and 1949, a model designed by the famous engineer Vittorio Jano and renowned for its exceptional advanced technology at that time.
Under the bonnet, this Aprilia is fitted with a 4-cylinder in-line engine with double overhead camshafts, producing around 48 horsepower in its standard version and offering remarkable smoothness and reliability for a car of this period. Combined with an independent front suspension and an innovative monocoque chassis, this engine gave the Aprilia exceptional road handling, with remarkable stability and agility that far exceeded the standards of the 1940s. This particular car left the factory on the 26th September 1947. Not much is known about its history. However, the car was acquired by a prominent Belgian industrial family with a passion for cars, history and design. With its iconic and original design, this car could not escape the curiosity of this collector. It was sent to Carrosserie Touring (which they owned) for a full restoration, down to the smallest bolt. Everything was completely redone by the Italian workshop regardless of cost. Its most pleasing colour combination is the original one, as it left the factory, with light grey bodywork and grey fabric interior. Since its restoration, the car has become part of the collection in Belgium and recently had a service carried out. It is a rare opportunity to acquire this type of model in such good condition.
