Ce collectionneur souhaitait acheter un cabriolet Mercedes de la série R107 dans son ultime configuration 560 SL, distribuée aux États-Unis mais jamais commercialisée en Europe. C'est donc dans ce pays que Brabus a trouvé la voiture et l'a importée en 2015 en Allemagne pour la restaurer. Cette 560 SL présente sa couleur d'origine bleu nuit (option 904) avec sellerie en cuir cognac, moquettes assorties, garnitures en bois vernis et capote beige, et elle est équipée de plusieurs options comme un thermomètre extérieur (option 240), un becquet arrière amovible (option 262), un rétroviseur extérieur droit à commande électrique (option 506), un autoradio Becker Grand Prix (option 519), une antenne automatique (option 531), des pare-soleil avec éclairage (option 543), un accoudoir conducteur repliable (option 570), un système de climatisation automatique (option 581), des vitrages isolants (option 592). La facture de vente de Brabus, datée de novembre 2015, détaille tout cet équipement pour un prix de vente total de 135 000 euros. La magnifique remise en état de 2015 n'a rien perdu de sa qualité et la voiture est aujourd'hui dans un état superbe, à tous points de vue.

This magnificent car was the subject of a special order by a Swedish collector through Brabus, the renowned high-end Mercedes coachbuilder who also developed a restoration department that lives up to its reputation. This collector was searching for a Mercedes convertible from the R107 series in its ultimate 560 SL configuration, distributed in the United States but never marketed in Europe. It is therefore in this country that Brabus found the car and imported it to Germany in 2015 for restoration

This 560 SL features its original midnight blue colour (option 904) with cognac leather upholstery, matching carpets, varnished wood trim and a beige soft top. It is equipped with several options such as an outside temperature thermometer (option 240), a removable rear spoiler (option 262), an electric exterior right-side mirror (option 506), a Becker Grand Prix radio (option 519), an automatic antenna (option 531), illuminated sun visors (option 543), foldable driver armrest (option 570), automatic climate control (option 581) and insulated windows (option 592). Dated from November 2015, the Brabus sales invoice details all the equipment for a total sale price of €135,000. The magnificent 2015 restoration has lost none of its quality and the car is now in superb condition throughout.
