Automobile hors du commun, la Bentley Mulsanne succède à l’Arnage, au sommet de la gamme. Avec sa ligne classieuse et élégante, elle accueille ses passagers dans le confort et le luxe des grands salons, tandis que son V8 de 505 cv lui confère des performances de premier ordre. Neuf semaines étaient nécessaires à l’assemblage d’un exemplaire… Celui que nous présentons a été vendu neuf par Bentley Genève le 20 mai 2011 ainsi qu’en témoigne son carnet d’entretien. L’opulente limousine y a d’ailleurs été entretenue jusqu’en septembre 2019 alors qu’elle totalisait 11 778 km. Son actuel propriétaire en a fait l’acquisition en septembre 2021 alors qu’elle venait d’être immatriculée en France et avait un peu plus de 12 000 km. L’élégante Bentley a depuis été utilisée de façon scrupuleuse puisqu’elle totalisait 16 750 km lors de notre examen, kilométrage exceptionnellement bas pour une routière de cette catégorie. Nous avons été enthousiasmés par la distinction que dégage son élégante teinte bi-tons, et que dire du superbe habitacle en cuir beige rehaussé de boiseries chaleureuses… Cette automobile de grand standing est une invitation au voyage, elle permettra à son nouveau propriétaire d’envisager de lointains déplacements dans un confort absolu. Dans un tel état et aussi peu kilométrée, elle pourrait également rejoindre une collection très sélective.

The Bentley Mulsanne is an extraordinary car that succeeded the Arnage at the top of the range. With its classy, elegant lines, passengers can immerse themselves in the comfort and luxury of a grand saloon, while its 505 hp V8 engine delivers first-rate performance. It took nine weeks to assemble one car... This one was sold new by Bentley Geneva on 20th May 2011, according to its service book. The opulent limousine was serviced there until September 2019, when it clocked up 11,778 km. Its current owner bought it in September 2021, after it had just been registered in France and had just over 12,000 km on the clock. This elegant Bentley has since been put to careful use, clocking up 16,750 km at the time of our review, an exceptionally low mileage for a tourer of this category. We were enthralled by the sophistication of its elegant two-tone paintwork, and there are no words for the superb beige leather interior enhanced by warm wood trim... This high-class car is just begging to be driven, its new owner will be able to envisage far-flung journeys in absolute comfort. In such condition and with such low mileage, it could also become part of a very selective collection.
