The original manuscript of General de Gaulle’s Appeal of 18 June 1940, written in London, has been donated to the French National Archives by his grandchildren. This historic document, accompanied by hundreds of previously unseen writings, was unveiled to the public for the first time last December at Artcurial. 

Artcurial's Modern & Contemporary Art Sales, held on June 5 and 6, 2025, obtained an overall result of €17.1M, confirming the sustained interest shown by collectors in these specialties.

Three world records were achieved, as well as three pre-emptions by cultural institutions.  

On May 27th and 28th, 2025, the Art Deco/Design, Italian Design, and Scandinavian Design auctions totalled over €3.5M. The first session featured 60 previously unseen lots from the estate of textile artist Simone Prouvé, offering an intimate journey through three generations of the Prouvé family. This collection achieved over €1M, with 100% of lots sold.

On Tuesday, 25 November 2025, Artcurial and Millon are proud to present an extraordinary rediscovery at auction: David Contemplating the Head of Goliath by Guido Reni. This remarkable 17th-century masterpiece, long considered lost for over two centuries, will be offered for bids with an estimated value of €2,000,000-4,000,000.
