The luxury real estate group John Taylor, a subsidiary of Artcurial Group, is delighted to support this initiative.
This first post-lockdown event for the art market will offer a walking tour in the heart of Paris, from one district to another.
During four days, in four districts including a new part of greater Paris with Pantin and Romainville, it will be possible to visit more than 72 exhibitions in preferential conditions, including 47 solo shows and 25 group shows.
There will be a total of 60 modern and contemporary art galleries, representing a wide range of locations and artistic choices.
Paris Gallery Weekend is organised in collaboration with the Gallery Weekends of Brussels, Lisbon, Madrid and Milan, the Art Across Europe platform and a network of cultural organisations and public and private institutions, providing for a much broader programme and highlighting the dynamism of the art world.
Those visitors who choose to stroll in the more peaceful 8th district will be able to see a rare stabile sculpture by the artist Alexandre Calder, displayed in the courtyard in front of Artcurial’s building until it is auctioned on 8th July.
