Mido Bugatti

Gold wristwatch reproducing the shape of the radiator Bugatti. Asymmetric hinged box surmounted by a crest with enameled initials of Ettore Bugatti. Crown winding and time-setting is shaped like radiator caps. Gray dial forming radiator grille with painted Arabic numerals. Mechanical movement 10 1/2 lines No. 2784-15 rubies and three adjustments. Breguet steel hands in gold. Dial, case and movement signed. We know that 261490 belonged to Dreyfus, 261492 was that of the boss and and 307215 was that of his son, Jean. It is numbered 220128 and if we are to believe the text later engraved in the base of the case, it was given to Albert Divo to commemorate his victory in a Bugatti at the Targa Florio of 1928.
