Under the direction of Stéphane Aubert, qualified auctioneer, the highly experienced team of the Inventories and Collections Department offer a personalised and discreet service for the evaluation of your items, whether the entire contents of a residence, a collection or individual items.

The Department can help you to optimise the transfer of inherited property. Whether it is for the purposes of succession, division, relocation, insurance valuation or an envisaged sale, Artcurial carries out hundreds of inventories each year in France and throughout Europe. Very often, a detailed inventory is the only way to identify the presence of rare and precious items within an inheritance. The Department is able to offer a full appraisal service in all fields and specialities.

With the support of professionals fully conversant with developments in the market as well as with the latest legal, tax and property transfer rules, Artcurial is perfectly placed to provide the best and most appropriate advice for anyone needing to understand how to prepare for the future with regard to an inheritance and also to make the right decisions when contemplating a sale.

In the case of a division, it can also be a good idea to sell at auction, but whatever the reason, the Department will provide the best strategy in order to obtain the highest results. Each year Artcurial organises more than 100 auctions, mainly in Paris and Monaco, in more than 25 different specialities.

Using the services of the Inventories and Collections Department means also benefitting from an international network, with our partner and representative offices (Brussels, Milan, Monaco, Marrakech, Munich, Vienna, etc.) in addition to those in France (Bordeaux, Toulouse, Montpellier, Marseilles, Lyons, etc.), thus offering the best opportunities for the promotion of items entrusted to us.
