  & Luxury Accessories

For over fifteen years, the Artcurial auction house has showcased the greatest luxury houses such as Hermès and Chanel, as well as the most influential contemporary designers, including Christian Dior and Martin Margiela. The Fashion & Luxury Accessories department holds two prestigious sales each year in Monaco that are devoted to the Maison Hermès, as well as several thematic Online Only sales.

Artcurial’s continuing development of the Hermès Collection sales in the Hotel Hermitage Monte-Carlo demonstrates the auction house’s desire to make the Principality the reference point for all sales of luxury items. Along with the Jewellery and Important Watches sales, Artcurial has thus created a unique and prestigious event in Monaco, a pivotal venue for collectors from all over the world.

Artcurial, a pioneer in Hermès Vintage sales, is now more than ever the international reference for the most iconic pieces, such as Kelly and Birkin bags,in a range of unique colours and fine leathers. The quality of the selection and the extraordinary provenances of the handbags and accessories offered are among the reasons for the great success of these sales. These sales of classic, collector, or specially ordered models often lead to spectacular bidding wars, as for example when a Birkin 35 in Indigo crocodile sold for €50,700 in 2018, or when a Kelly 40 depicting Princess Grace Kelly attained the sum of €104,000.

As for the Online Only sales, they showcase a variety of fashion items, ranging from Louis Vuitton trunks to Chanel accessories, as well as creations by Yves Saint Laurent. These thematic sessions juxtapose historic pieces and the latest fashion trends. Our specialists carefully select the most desirable items, based on their provenance, state of preservation, and their design and importance in fashion history.
