Currently leader in the Design international market, the department has acquired expertise and recognised proficiency thanks to thematic sales such as Light is more: a historic sale devoted to Ingo Maurer luminaires - Black, the black in domestic landscapes: first cross-sectional sale highlighting design, contemporary art and photography -Chandigarh project: unique Pierre Jeanneret and Le Corbusier furniture sale created for the legendary Punjabi capital - Al Dente!: a sale comprising design, contemporary art, photography and Italians jewellery - Modern Design For Living, around Jean Prouvé, Charlotte Perriand, Le Corbusier, Pierre Jeanneret - Artcurial organises Swiss Made in 2009 around Swiss graphics and furniture.
