Automobilia

An integral part of Artcurial Motorcars, Automobilia sales have taken on a new life since 2013, with their own personal identity. Under the helm of Sophie Peyrache, the Automobilia department organises three auctions a year alongside the Artcurial Motorcars department, during some of the most anticipated events for car collectors, such as the Salon Rétromobile or Le Mans Classic.

Created in the early 1970’s by Maître Hervé Poulain, the specialty has diversified and has opened up to every aspect of the Automobile world, anticipating every request from enthusiasts and collector.

Strengthened by this new synergy, the department disperses important collections such as the Pasquale Giordano former collection, a set of 800 mascot cars in February 2016 and recently, the Vincent Saja collection and the Martine and Hervé Ogliastro collection during the 2017 salon Rétromobile.

Whether a historical or an emblematic piece, the department has achieved impressive results, as it did for Ayrton Senna’s 1990 season prototype helmet, sold for €98,520 in June 2015, or the ultra-rare special Breguet chronographer for Bugatti purchased by the Breguet watch museum for €78,000 in February 2016.

The Bugatti Baby – 1930 from the Hervé and Martine Ogliastro collection is sold for €90,500 including fees in February 2017.

Artcurial Motorcars team’s expertise it at your service to achieve optimum results.
