Since its opening in 2012, the Brussels Artcurial office has become an essential destination for collectors and Brussels art lovers. Located in a superb mansion on the edge of the Cambre woods, the office is situated in the heart of the magnificent residential area, les Ambassade.

A great number of events dot the activity calendar of the Belgium office such as themed comic book exhibitions or Belgium artists, preliminary presentations of the season’s highlights, offering a panorama of the masterpieces soon to be auctioned and conferences organised in its offices or at the heart of the exhibitions in local regional museums. Artcurial office is a significant participant in charitable events, such as the Luxembourg Red Cross Ball.

Trilingual in French, Dutch and English, Vinciane holds a degree in Art History in contemporary art from the Université Libre de Bruxelles, and a diploma from CREPAC, majoring in Antique Dealing/Fine Art Broker Business Management. She also followed an additional course organised by IESA Belgium. Vinciane then joined Sotheby's, first in London, then in Brussels as an expert-liaison and later as Director of the Decorative Arts Departments. Since 2012, Vinciane de Traux is Director of the Belgium Artcurial office and manages the Benelux Artcurial activities, putting her skills, enthusiasm and network at the service of the auction house’s development.

In 2018, Artcurial totals € 195,3M / $ 254M and achieved a record bid for an Impressionist or Modern Art work sold in France.



On 30th November, Artcurial Belgium gave African Contemporary Art pride of place during an exhibition creating a dialogue between a selection of artworks from the Paris#Marrakesh auction and artworks by the artist Sophie Cauvin.
