Pallamar is a well-known name among connoisseurs of old paintings. The Viennese gallery was founded in the nineteen sixties and was a major reference point during the second half of the 20th century. Specialising in the Northern Schools, the gallery regularly offered masterpieces by major artists active in these regions in the 16th and 17th centuries during its annual exhibition. Rudolf and Friederike Pallamar, the ambitious founders, were proud to support the heritage left by these historic artists.
