Wines & Spirits
Art and gastronomy are inseparable pleasures for the collector
Our department adds a cheerfully gastronomic flavor to Artcurial, offering sales of wine-cellars that range from rare collections of great vintages for laying down, to ensembles of bottles ready for drinking.
Our experts Laurie Matheson and Luc Dabadie have vast experience of the wine market and have staged 10-20 sales a year since 1989, both in Paris and elsewhere in France. They attach great importance to selling only bottles from cellars which they have visited to check storage conditions. Along with Luc’s father Edouard, Laurie helped launch the first in house French Wine department at an English-speaking auction house in 1989.
All our departments contribute to the success of our wine sales, with over 25,000 bottles offered each year.
