Under the experienced and highly respected Violaine de La Brosse-Ferrand, assisted by researcher and auction specialist Bruno Jaubert, the department continues to progress and consolidate its position as French market-leader, a status it has held since the firm was founded in 2002.
The impetus provided by Francis Briest, the man behind the launch of auctions at Artcurial, is another key factor in this succes
The department has a wealth of experience in handling major inventories and estate sales (cf the Ambroise Vollard, Henriette & André Gomez and Matarasso sales, and Geneviève Laporte’s Picasso collection).
