An important and exceptional cushion cut sapphire set within two twisted snakes surrounding the finger and set with brilliant cut diamonds, mounted in white gold, signed Chanel
Ring size: 52
Sapphire weight: 58,53cts
Accompanied by a Gubelin report, stating that the sapphire is of Burmese origin (MYANMAR), with no indications of heating.
An additional letter from the same Laboratory states that this sapphire has a perfect colour saturation and a high degree of transparency' and that such a sapphire is considered to be extremely rare.
Also accompanied by a GRS Swiss report stating the above characteristics and also stating the rarity of the combination of dimension, colour saturation and purity of this sapphire.
This 'Chanel' ring is the most important sapphire ring ever been proposed for sale at auction.

Importante et exceptionnelle bague en or gris sertie d'un saphir taillé en coussin retenu par quatre griffes stylisées de serpents entrelacés, se prolongeant sur le tour de doigt, sertis de diamants taillés en brillant.
Signée Chanel.
Tour de doigt : 52 - Poids brut : 29 g
Poids du saphir : 58,53 cts
Accompagné :
- d'un certificat du laboratoire Gübelin, précisant : Caractéristiques correspondant à celles des saphirs de MYANMAR (Birmanie), pas d'indication de traitement thermique
- d'une lettre additionnelle de ce même laboratoire indiquant que ce saphir possède 'une couleur saturée homogène ainsi qu'un haut degré de transparence' et précise par ailleurs qu'un tel saphir est considéré comme étant très rare.
- d'un certificat GRS suisse confirmant les indications précédentes et attirant l'attention sur l'extrême rareté de combinaison de dimension, d'homogénéité de la couleur et de la pureté.

Cette bague est la plus importante, avec un saphir, réalisée à ce jour par la Maison Chanel.
Un tel saphir est, du point de vue des caractéristiques, un des plus importants proposé aux enchères depuis des années.
