- Restauration ancienne bien préservée
- Entretien suivi

- Well preserved older restoration
- Regularly maintained
- Stunning styling, outstanding engineering

With its "Old English White" coachwork, lightly patinated red leather upholstery and red carpets, this Jaguar XK120, that left the factory on 3 March 1953 to be delivered new to the US, offers the timeless appeal of a great classic. The old restoration has been preserved along with the original engine for good reason. The list of work documented in the file includes the fitting of a stainless steel exhaust by British Motors in 1966, an overhaul of the brakes, replacement of the seals in the exhaust manifold, an overhaul of the ignition in 2000 by SPR. Two small aero screens were installed in place of the original windscreen, but this could easily be reversed. This XK120 roadster comes with a tonneau cover and a full made-to-measure cover. The odometer records 48,969 miles and a test-run revealed a car that was enjoyable to drive. Having not been used regularly in recent years, the car is being sold without technical inspection (MOT) and will need a service before being put back on the road. In addition to its seductive, streamlined styling, this XK120 also has its original 3.4-litre six-cylinder engine that is capable of close to 200km/h.
